SLC Residential (SLC) has developed land and residential
properties including several projects in the Aspen/Snowmass area
of Colorado. SLC n was formed by Norman Perlmutter in 1988
initially to acquire and develop approximately 2,200 acres of
undeveloped property located in Snowmass Village, Colorado,
resulting in the development and sale of and 238 single-family
lots and 31 town homes. The development transformed the nature of
the residential market in Snowmass from one of high-density, small
residences to high quality, luxury homes and town homes. Since
2002, SLC has been led by Stephen Perlmutter, CEO. Today, SLC’s
scope includes PIC’s entire rental and for sale residential
activities.
PIC’s current residential
investments include a joint venture with Dermot Company for
residential development in New York City. Completed projects
include Kew Gardens, a 388-unit development in Queens, New York,
which was sold in 2006 following its completion and leasing,
Clinton Green a two-tower 627 rental unit development located in
Manhattan, which was successfully completed and leased in 2008.
